Welcome to New Zealand Masters Swimming - Fun, Fitness and Friendship for adults over 20. Find out  how to join and participate in our many events. There are local clubs in most major towns in New Zealand, so there are sure to be other masters swimmers in your area.


If you are into competing, either against yourself or others, Masters Swimming is for you. Swim with a club, and push yourself against others. There are plenty of opportunities to test yourself at regular meets.


Swimming is the best sport for developing and maintaining overall fitness. Masters Swimming offers the opportunity to improve your fitness in a relaxed environment with swimmers of all age and ability.

2016 Combined Raumati / Levin Fun Meet

For the first time, Raumati Masters Swimming and Levin Masters Swimming have joined forces to come up with a combined fun meet, at the new Coastlands Aquatic Centre. This promises to be an excellent meet with an after match function to follow. This is sure to be a great meet so keep Saturday 16th July free, and get your entry form in. 2014 Capital Region AGM

31st Levin Masters Autumn Meet: Greetings from the 'Speedy Toheroas'

Once again Levin Club hosted their Annual Autumn Meet held at the Levin Aquatic Centre on 18 May with over 60 competitors attending and then enjoying the social function held this year at the Levin Fire Station. One of the features of this Meet are the distances events held on the previous evening catering for swimmers looking for a challenge of up to 1500m events. Another feature is the 25m Skins event with the following winners:

2013 AGM - Capital Region

Capital Region held their 2013 AGM at the Levin Aquatic Centre on the 18th May. You can read the minutes of the meeting here.

Roskill Masters Swimming Celebrate

Roskill Masters celebrated their annual prize giving with a dine and dance, preceded by the presentation of prizes for the year.

Most Improved trophy went to Scott Brown, with Sheryl Campbell and Sarah Longley being the other nominees.

The Wally Martin Trophy for Club Spirit went to Fiona Barber. Most Meritorious Performance went to Mike Townsend, with Richard

Lockhart and Steve Rainbow being the other nominees. Congratulations to all winners and nominees, and for your efforts in showing the Masters Swimming spirit.
