Need a way to keep track of all the changes on the NZMS website? Tired of having to go to the website and sift through all the info to find out what's new? Well now there's a way of getting the latest updates delivered straight to you, as they are added to the website. Get yourself a news feedreader and make life easy for yourself.
The website now has three news feeds that you can use a news feed reader or aggregator to pick up the latest news as it's added to the website. There are number of news aggregators about, and you may already use one or have access to one - eg. Outook 2007. If not, we'd suggest using either Google Reader (which works within your web browser) or FeedDemon, which is a standalone application - however make sure you check out the link and find something that suits you best!
NZMS offers three feeds:
NZMS Latest News: Contains every item as it is added to the website. This is the feed to subscribe to if you are and NZMS news junkie!
NZMS Latest Events: Contains a feed of all the new events as they are added to the website. So for example if you wanted to be notified when an entry form is added to the website, subscribe to this list
NZMS Latest Results: Contains a feed of the latest results added to the website. So for example if you were waiting to see the results from an event, you can subscribe to this list, and be notified as soon as they are available on the website
How to subscribe:
Firstly, make sure you have chosen your newsreader, and have it all loaded and ready to go, Then just choose the feed you want by clicking on the link below (you can come back and click on the others if you want as well), and follow the instructions in your news aggregator
