Swim Around NZ - February Update |

February's results are in with the total distance swum, since May 1st 2008 being 8424Km's - a fantastic effort. Part of the fun of this type of event is to be able to challenge yourself to increasing the distance you swim - and seeing how quickly you can mount up those K's. If you haven't yet joined the Swim around NZ challenge, it's not too late. You'll be encouraged to reach your personal goals, by contributing to the team effort to complete the 15,134Km's required to swim around NZ. This month, Steven Sexton has lept out in front - increasing those km's in preperation for the summer swim season.
8424K'm s have been completed - next months target is to get to 10000 Kkm's which will be 2/3rds of the way through, so get swimming , encourage others to join in, and get those distances in
8424Km's represents:
- Auckland to Cape Horn (wondered why the going is getting rough?)
- Auckland to Tokyo
- Auckland to Hong Kong
- Invercargill to Visokoi Island (one for the trainspotters!)
