The upcoming Sovereign Open Water Swimming series is now even more affordable, with a special discount available to registered masters swimmers. These events are perfect for experiencing open water swimming for the first time, or for more seasoned swimmers to enjoy pitting themselves against masters and non masters swimmers. The events are fast becoming the pinnacle of open water swimming in New Zealand, so this year is the right time to take part. For more details about the discounts available, follow the link below.

The organisers of the Sovereign Open Water Swim series offer all NZ Masters Swimming members a $5 discount off the 750m event or the longer 2.8km -3.3km event. To qualify for this discount you will need to use the following codes on your swims

• NZ Masters members $5 discount – Long swim                 nzmastersoss2009
• NZ Masters members $5 discount- 750m                          nzmasters750oss2009

To ensure the organisers can identify you as a registered NZ Masters Swimmer, you need to ensure you put your NZMS number on the entry form. Additional details on how to register follow.

Step by Step Instructions to use the $5 off code:

1.       Members can enter online as all normal competitors would at www.oceanswim.co.nz

2.       Click on ‘enter here’ and follow entry instructions

3.       There is a promotional code box on the right hand side of the online entry form at all times

4.       Once you have gone through the entry process enter your promo code and click the validate key which will discount your entry fee by $5.

5.       Additional donations, event day transport and merchandise cannot be purchased with the $5 discount.

NB: It is requested that all members input their NZ Masters Swimming membership number into the appropriate box on the Swim Series online entry form when entering at oceanswim.co.nz, this will help ensure that entries are from Masters members only
