Membership of New Zealand Masters Swimming

Who can Join?

Membership of NZMS is open to all people who turn 20 in their first year of membership.  Potential members must be in a position to swim at a local club, within New Zealand, before they can be accepted as members.

What does it cost?

There is a national administration fee, payable through your local club of $50. Most clubs charge a fee to cover their running costs, and this can be anywhere from $15 upwards, depending on the booking arrangements with the pools they swim at What do I get for my money?

• Access to swim at any sanctioned meet, anywhere in the world


• Ability to swim and socialise with like minded individuals


• Bi monthly Masterscrawl publication


• Access to a range of competitive swimming options including pool based meets, postal meets, and open water swimming


• Access to the members only area on the website containing swimming tips and information designed specifically for masters swimmers within New Zealand
